Gland Packings
Gland packings are an important component of all valves, pumps and other fluid transfer equipments. The material and type of packing to be used is determined by the design of the equipment, service conditions, nature of the service medium, and many other factors.

Textiles
Ceramic, fibre glass and asbestos yarn can be braided or woven into textiles in various forms like tape, cloth, rope, sleeve, and mat. These products are primarily used as insulation and protective cladding for piping, personal safety clothing, fireproof blankets, and other industrial applications.
